    Description:
Perhaps some overly sentimental rubbish, but it's MY overly sentimental rubbish. And I mean every word of it.

    dotsMy Love, My Lifedots
    -------------------------------------------

My life has never seemed to matter that much
In the grand scheme of things.
Too much time spent chasing memories,
Too few happy songs to sing.
I suppose I started out promisingly,
    A young, bright, motivated child.
And as they inevitably do, bad things happened,
And life went a little wild.
But throughout all the bad, I was learning,
And preparing for what I could become.
Never giving up hope for the future,
Never forgetting where I came from.
And then came you, a beacon of hope,
    My perfect little knight.
Fighting battles you never knew existed,
In the darkness, being my light.
You’ve given my life a meaning
That I never knew could exist.
You’re a wonder, a creation of love and life,
    A miracle I almost missed.
Every moment with you is a blessing.
Every smile, a work of art.
I love you more than words could ever express.
You hold the key to my heart.
All the time I was searching for more,
You have always been the one.
My love, my life, my hope for the world…
    Devlin, my darling, my son.

      beautiful.

theres no substitute for a mothers love.

i dont have any children but i hope when that day comes that i am able to put my love into words as you have here.

i adore that your son is a miracle you almost missed. i dont know... sometimes life is just so demanding these days that we over look the perfection in every day life things. its easy to take children/family for granted when we should be spending all our time learning from them and trying to give them something to learn from too.

and it is the way life shapes us that helps become good parents/good people and from the unsaid in this piece your son is one of the luckiest.

enjoy your times together creating memories and sewing love.
