Call centre. -------------------------------------------
A helpful voice.
Item to buy.
Something is wrong with bank card.
The feeling of power making some one deal with yet another angry customer and the feeling that itís not your fault itís the call centres Fault after all you have never had this happen before or have you?
Call has ended now, youíre happy.
But sadly the day has only just started for my self.
the thing about call centres is that by the time you've spent half your lunch break waiting on hold listening to the most terrible music possible you are connected to an operator who has already dealt with 14 unreasonable callers and its only 11am.
and youre getting stressed and short because your lunch break if half over and you havent eaten anything yet and you dont even know if your request can be solved by the time youre due back down stairs from lunch and the bad music has put you in a foul state and you forget that the person who answers your call is a person too...
i always try to be sweetness and light when i contact a call centre because i couldnt think of a worse job. when people cant see a person theyre more likely to be rude and awful which is really unfair.
admittedly i have come across some really rude call centre operators but for the most part i find if im sunshine and light with them theyre quick efficient and go beyond what is expected.
sometimes i think people forget about the whole 'treat others how you would like to be treated' idea...
