    Upside down... spinning around
Lyrics, not mine, float ear to ear
    inside my skull
    words, not mine, describe me
i fell down, yeah, i fell down
melody and song, not mine, resonate
reading my own mind, hearing, but not

no cage needed, i'm stuck inside
no air needed, i can't breathe anyway
    i don't need you, i don't need a flake

    all i do need, i can't fake
i need a friend who knows what that means
i need family so much more than they know
i need God to show me I matter
I need drugs to make me feel normal

    i don't get what i need
    life doesn't work that way

the opening words made e e eummings flash through my mind

anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
    spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn't he danced his did.

Women and men(both little and small)
cared for anyone not at all
they sowed their isn't they reaped their same
    sun moon stars rain

    children guessed(but only a few
and down they forgot as up they grew
    autumn winter spring summer)
that noone loved him more by more

when by now and tree by leaf
she laughed his joy she cried his grief
bird by snow and stir by still
anyone's any was all to her

    someones married their everyones
laughed their cryings and did their dance
    (sleep wake hope and then)they
said their nevers they slept their dream

    stars rain sun moon
(and only the snow can begin to explain
how children are apt to forget to remember
with up so floating many bells down)

one day anyone died i guess
(and noone stooped to kiss his face)
busy folk buried them side by side
little by little and was by was

all by all and deep by deep
and more by more they dream their sleep
noone and anyone earth by april
wish by spirit and if by yes.

Women and men(both dong and ding)
    summer autumn winter spring
reaped their sowing and went their came
    sun moon stars rain

i hope you dont mind my sharing that poem with you but in some ways the undercurrent of your piece is the same as that of this e e cummings piece.

your section in your piece of needs...
maybe you need to let your family know just how much you need them... easier said than done i know.
as for god... are you involved in a church or a youth group or something? if your need for god is real then sometimes surrounding yourself with others who love him can help you feel more loved/connected.

sometimes getting what you need takes some pro-action on your part.
do one thing every day that scares you... that one thing could be reaching out to people or joining a club or talking to your family about your feelings...
sometimes i think we sit back and wait for what we need to make our lives better when we really need to be doing something to try make our lives easier or at least bearable..

    good luck xx
