    Description:
People from the past might look to get acquainted once more, but the best idea is to leave the bad friends behind, and continue to live life without the bad company.

    dotsAll My Friends Are Dead!dots
    -------------------------------------------

Recently I came about the idea
That all the people I came across with
Are either in jail, with their own family
    or just plain gone.
Those familiar faces I was once among.

The few people I used to talk to
Now look for me for different reasons
Perhaps it was something I said
Or something I did in the past
Perhaps the kid who bullied me back in class
Nevertheless the image in my head
Tells me that all the people once my friends
    Are now all dead.

Life is all about change...We just have to move forward when it seems as if its the end of a road.
I've lost a lot of good people in my life. Sometimes I wonder where they are now only to discover the only thing they left are memories. I remember this words from the book The Observatory, "Memories are the only way to hold on to someone when the arms could not"...
    Thank you for sharing this..

      there is truth to this.
sometimes people are only our friends for seasons.
there are people who were such an important part of my life for the longest time and now its just a hollow hello and really awkward forced small talk... life has taken us in completely different directions and when i look back i cannot work out why or how we are the point we are now at.

but i guess thats why the past is best left in the past.

but i have one friend with whom i was inseperable all the way through high school. to the point no one knew our names because they only knew us together. when we finished school we stopped being friends in a dramatic end of the world kind of way. and for two years we never saw each other.
i dont even know why we started talking again but now...

now i have a husband. she has a husband. and 6 kids. and neither of us really have any time to catch up and can go months without even remembering to send a txt but then we can go out for dessert or something one night when her kids are all safe in bed and its like we were just talking yesterday.

relationships and human interaction is so hard to work out. why some friendships last and others dont is something i canot work out.

at one stage it hurt thinkign about the people i loved who are no longer in my life but now i just think about how important they were and im thankful for them being in my life at the time they were...

but yes. in a sense all of your friends are dead.
maybe its time to find new ones?
