    Night comes,

    The fears, the gears that drive you to the edge,
    wake a war inside you.

    So dark, eyes mark in black and white,

    no colors in this half,
    where even the moon light changes to phases...

      This one I'm going to favorite. This is really well-written and speaks to me. I'm going to discuss a few stanzas here.

    "Night comes,

    The fears, the gears that drive you to the edge,
    wake a war inside you."

    As someone who struggles with intense anxiety and panic attacks, this is so spot on. Just really spot on. Again with the word play, too. I love to see a good word play.


    "So dark, eyes mark in black and white,

    no colors in this half,
    where even the moon light changes to phases..."

    And here, I saw not night, but depression. I've been in that world, I've written about that world. Where grey and black and white surround you but no light can touch you. Colors fade and the sense dull--anxieties heighten. It just speaks to me.
