    I will not tell you

when our hands met, out walking
the weight of pavements with our shoes on it
    strained my chest
My feelings overgrown so I slowed down
    and stopped for you.

the short walk towards the sunset view
the soft summer whiff of flowers
    weeds and a few trees

the lovers beside themselves at nightfall
the rough noise of cars we cherish
    to cover our silence

    the walk

    the talk

    the pedestrian signal still up
    with us long gone

    I will not tell you
    when I stopped
    I stayed
    and loved you since then.

I will tell you how captivating this poem is for me. You always have this style..the pause, structure and pictures so vague yet powerful enough to come through in words. I like how you write so sad and always manage to make it hopeful and lovely. The end just resounds. Nice work.
