    -------------------------------------------

Our Nigeria is a great country,
    A country of diamonds.
So let us not allow the challenges we face
    To tell us otherwise
For they can do no harm
    To our wonderful heritage.

Our Nigeria is a great country,
    A country of diamonds.
But for our diamonds to keep shining bright,
    We must all refuse
    To give up on ourselves.

Our Nigeria is a great country,
    A country of diamonds
And if we never get tired of staying committed to each other,
then the world will once again have no other choice
    but to wear dark shades
    Whenever they look at us
Because our future will be too bright
    For their human eyes.
