Description:

Pulling myself up

Today I am different

I know deep inside Im the same.
But I also know my "tomorrow"
will be different from my "yesterday".

Im awake

and those words stand alone
because in that instance
it is solidified in my mind
and to my person

Write your facts hands
live the truths you find in your words
help me listen to my mind
as I type the words of thought

Help my dreams
be the breath of my virtual reality
as I paint the pictures
I want to see.

Life will be magnificent.
Not because it was destine,
but because it was my
Belief.

I've found that how you handle things in life is less about what they actually are, and more about how you see and think you can deal with them. Your perspective on the situation defines your reaction to it; your belief in yourself to take whatever comes can be just as important as your actual ability to take whatever comes. You just gotta believe, and you got this. I really liked this piece a lot. Thanks for sharing!

I agree, although there's sometimes little we can do about the actual circumstances we encounter we do have control over our attitudes, the way we face each day. However I would suggest that relative rationality and rational relativity are often two different things. Being schizophrenic I feel I speak with some insight here. Take care!
