A Mother's Prayer


Sitting here holding baby, with a kiddo on each knee.
I know I couldn't ask for a happier place to be.

I'm not always grateful, and I wish that wasn't so.
But my only dream, is to help my babies grow.

I ask the Lord of guidance, help them grow into strong men.
Ones that see with their heart, and know on HIM they can depend.

Save them from the foolish thngs, that I may do or say.
And let them know I'm here for them, all along the way.
