    dotsNo Longer Hisdots

    A boy walks,
    Walks through his house,
    House filled with people,
    People who don't care,
    Care about this boy,
    Boy is hiding,
    Hiding something underneath,
    Underneath his shirt,
    Shirt is stained red,
    Red from the blood,
    Blood that was gushing,
    Gushing from his body,
    Body losing strength,
    Strength he hasn't had,
    Had in a long time,
    Time is Running,
    Running low,
    Low on life,
    Life isn't worth it,
    It just hurts,
    Hurts for no reason,
    Reasons are nonexistent,
    Nonexistent happiness,
    Happiness is all gone,
    Gone like the wind,
    Wind picks up,
    Up goes this boy,
    Boy bleeds out,
    Out of his,
    His body has no soul,
    Soul was free,
    Free from torture,
    Torture is all he knew,
    Knew he was a demon,
    Demon took his body,
    Body was no longer his.

I really struggled reading this until I tried reading it out loud to really capture the pacing. Still I find it a bit hard to see what exactly is happening here or what is triggering the metamorphasis. We're never really told why he's bleeding but the wound is referenced again near the end of the poem.
