    Light,
    The symbol of happiness,
    The symbol of joy,
The symbol of all things good.
    Darkness,
    The symbol of hate,
    The symbol of anger,
The symbol of all things evil.
    But...
    What happens,
    When the two are equal?
    Is there finally peace?
    Because the war is futile.
Maybe a constant war for power?
The one who takes control rules all.
    None of these are correct.
    You see...
    When Light and Darkness,
    Are equally matched,
    There becomes no light,
    And no darkness.
    All emotions will be lost,
    Nothing will be good,
    Nor evil.
    Instead.
    Chaos will take it's turn,
    Killing all of us,
    Inside and out.

Darkness without light is an abyss. Light without darkness is blinding. You cannot have a coin with one side.

Somehow you've got to relate how I martial arts feel about your assessment of the darkness. We're sort of, how to make something good out of blacks. Perhaps it could be said that the stance is evil or personified hatred but I soldier sentinel like to think its a good thing I can sort of share. A positive force for the evolution of humanity. Ahhh, darkness.

PS: further forcing people to live in the scrutiny of the light can easily become a misdirected force. A distraction rather than a boon.
