    Here there, everywhere
    I see feathers drift
    Being able to know you
    Was an amazing gift
    All the colorful, beautiful birds
In a room that is their own
How you handled them so gently
For them, your love was shown
    Everything was always neat
    You were obsessivly clean
I wish I was just like that
But for me it's just a dream
You loved your birds so very much
And I know they loved you too
Sometimes I look at my flock
And start to think of you
I feel like you are watching me
It makes me smile and think
Why you trusted me so much
The birds, they were our link
    Scott will never forget you
    Believe me, nor will I
When time to time I think of you
I know I just may cry
Though I didn't know you well
    You were a wonderful friend
But I will always be sad
About not having more time to spend
    With such a special person
Who had so much to give
And even though you are gone
    Forever you will live
Next time I see a bird fly by
I'll think of you and smile
    Knowing that seeing you again
    Will only take a while
