    -------------------------------------------

As a child she was taught with anger

As a teenager she flirted with danger

She learned that hate was love

Weapons, fist and feet, these were the tools of lovers

One day it was her turn to be the mother

    Did she have the strength?

    Does she have the power?

To turn the page and begin anew at this hour?

As she held the tiny life that had grown inside her

    A vow was made

This child would learn love not hate

To suffer would never be this child's fate

As a new cycle has begun, now this story is done
