    dotsSomeone Writes the Dreamdots

    Someone writes the dream;
    Someone veils it in mystery,
    I awake to find it my reality.
    I sell the dream to others.
    Some think it is a comedy;
    Some think it is a tragedy.
    I just want to get the money.
    I turn the story for others,
    The story in turn, turns me.
    There are endless questions.
    Do the answers matter?
    The askers want to be amazed, amused.
    So I entertain, amaze, amuse.
    For those who want enlightenment,
    they can look for it here too.
    The meaning of the word
    is hanging from their eyes.
    Sometimes it is truth,
    Sometimes it is lies.

      I guess this just goes to prove the cliché, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Because I liked it.

    I like the message, how we sell out to pay the bills. Too true. Sadly, money makes the world go round.

    The first four lines are my favorite.

    To me, it doesn't sound like the person wants to write what he does, but has to. You know.

    Either way, thanks for sharing.

      Hahahha the shallow truth of it all :)). Bruce dear as long as humans still hold instincts of "survival"and "propagation of our species" personal gain takes 1st place. Wether a person decides that spiritualism and enlightment or wealth and comfort is the path that leads to preservation is of no importance. No human is wrong in their desires, it is simply another point of view. This shallow behaviour is too just another manifestation of the human psyche.
    Other than that the poem is boring.

      You some kind of a shallow water scroad sucker? This is entirely to glib for me. No devotion, no dedication, of we owe these things to each other. By me the entertainers get entirely to much accolade. What about sincere spiritualism, earnestly industrious endeavoring for the good of all, not personal gain? Perhaps I'm believing in a lie to think such things could make a difference. I guess maybe I'm just an idealist but it feels good! Yeah???
