Mid-day blossoms fall from the cherry tree
    Pink petals,shiny tiny, golden leaves

Gracefully falling from the limbs of these
A sweet smell , you see the petals float in air

Glorious the sunset standing still in place
Take it in this sweet scented dancing air

    Timeless is the beauty ,
Is that what you seek ?

    A pale white painted face
Lips stained to shame the fair red rose

    Hands soft like delicate porcelain
Graceful balance , artist in the making

Japanese custom , i'm not free to love
    I'm designed for entertainment
    Born dancer of the fan

    Grace & beauty forever more

This was very poignant,--beautifully executed. I felt the delicate beauty and the parallels between the fragile blossoms and the geisha. One little thing--you mention "mid-day blossoms"---and at the same time the "sunset standing still)--just a small thing but somehow it distracted me from the otherwise serenity and bittersweet longing described in the rest. Take care.
