The world is spurred by songs
Dedicated to things I don’t understand
A hymn by dogs, and bronze, and other wrongs
Which I let pass through me unplanned
Flowers are ignored in my stride,
Each one calls out to the passer-by
Yet its teachings were something I chide
Something I’d regret the day I die
Nightfall is the venue of a symphony,
Its harmonies surrendered from clear skies
The learned man looks to the stars for destiny
A song that brings a soul to rise
Hope, dreams, and other buzz words
Moves one forward towards their glory
Building you up, you soar like a bird
Soon you’ll swoop down and end your story
May I bloom like one of the flowers!
Let me be brave and act!
Stand up and move, be with her in the hour!
I’m attracted and I must react
