Got bored one day and was just thinking.

Sometimes I Wonder

Sometimes I wonder
is God even there?
I can't think of one
not one answered prayer.

Sometimes I wonder
am I out of my mind?
Then I just say
"Nope, just one of a kind!"

Sometimes I wonder
why do leaves change in fall?
I just think that's when
they're most beautiful after all.

Sometimes I wonder
Why am I this way?
Why do I always seem
to push people away?

I don't know why
I think the things I do.
Sometimes I just wonder...
don't other people wonder too?

I wonder about all kindsa stuff.
Like, who would win in a fight between Bigfoot and a unicorn? Why does it only rain when I forget my raincoat? Why is pomegranate juice so delicious but pomegranates are so hard to eat? etc and plenty of other stuff.

I dig yer poem. It's very mostly gentle and sweet.
Thanks for sharing ☺

Yes, everyone wonders from time to time. In it's one of the driving forces of the intellectual advancements of our race. There are those of us who would deny this because they don't want it to be known that they are not all knowing but I think a man would have to be a fool to think that of himself.
