OLD SOLDIER NEVER DIES

‘’Burry me with her scarf and a flag,’’
Those words were his last,
He lived only in these brag,
But he brought peace and made it last,

When thieves and robbers came and guns were shot,
We all ran into hiding,
But old soldier ran out chasing madly,
This man was a lot

Should you find yourself in danger?
With the under men at hand
Just scream old soldier
and papa onome will take the stand

He was fighting in the war
When on the delivery bed his wife died
He returned with the rejoicing and all
He got into his house and cried,

Sometimes he will scream randomly
His sanity was falling fast
He was feared yet he was brotherly
When he told stories of the past

Stories of war fought in
And deeds he had done
He told us nothing of his hurting,
And why he never stopped to mourn

He once said he was empty
Staring up to the skies
He once said this world is empty,
If the dead cannot return to life

He battled with life till he was 80,
He lived to see onome grow,
The girl was full of beauty,
But she was a no go as you must know,

He was just a common soldier,
His rank and pension were thin
Till his last breath,old soldier
Brought peace and with it everything.
