    I will show strength
    That cannot falter.

    I will show happiness
    That will not shatter.

    I will show smiles
As if I didn't know how to frown.

    I will show forgiveness
As if I never hated anyone.

    I will make you believe
    That everything is alright.

    I won't let you see
    That everything is fake.

The poem reminds me of how you may deal with specific people for specific reasons ....... like putting on a mask. The message is clear and to improve I would probably maintain a rhyming rhythm - falter/shatter, frown/(anyone), alright/(fake).

Show happiness when it's real. Foster happiness when it isn't. Symetrical cycles aren't healing. they're isolating a variable and coiling it tighter. seriously try simple things. simple practices. lists of things you like. only positive adjectives etc etc. it can help. trying to hide our pain means we love others, but we serve others more greatly with that love when we love ourselves. just a thought.

      You won't find me here
    because I'm over there
    you won't find me there
    because I'm over here

    I'm hidden apart
    from all that I fear
    when everything's straight
    nothing is clear

    all I can say
is you won't find me near...

Just a thought attached to your thought.
