Sometimes, there is a lot to do
And pressure weighs one down.
When you want to quit and cry a bit,
Just smile - don't ever frown.
When people did not care for me
And no one knew my pain,
I humbly made that sacrifice
And it was not in vain.
For, later, I did realize
That good sacrifice is joy.
Labour for God, don't expect reward,
And life, you'll truly enjoy.
So, when you are tired out,
And pressure weighs you down,
Count your blessings and forget your cares,
Just smile - don't ever frown.
When people hurt and spoil your name
And when they deny you praise,
When you don't attain your hard-earned fame,
With joy, to God, your voice, raise!
Don't want the praise that men can give,
For God can give you more.
Make a humble sacrifice
And God's love and grace, implore.
Remember, life is sometimes tough
And pressure weighs one down.
Take courage and live life to the fullest,
Just smile - don't ever frown.
