    Hide in the shadows.
    That's a game you can't win.

    Feel safe in the light.
The darkness always finds it's prey.

    There is no safety.
    There is no hiding.

    You must embrace the two.
In order to feel like one.

For the light can't protect you.
And the dark can't hide you.

No matter how well you hide.
No matter how safe it seems.

There is always light in the darkness.
And there's always a shadow to that light.

To be on one side is impossible.
    Yet we all will try.

    To be light or dark.
It doesn't matter when we all die.

      watch the poets follow light
to the bottom of the night
with a howl, each trembling voice
chooses both, if there's a choice...

Just some thoughts on your thoughts.

kind of true to me, i think it matters how we mix ourselves in. we can choose the darkness we embrace and we can even choose what darkness means to us when we take it in, or mistake the light for it. it still though, however untraceable, makes a differencde in life. we all die, but we all live before that happens. if death is inevitable then that's not the factor that matters, to me at least. it's all the control factors. i guess stand in the light when the sun's out and learn darkness from the shadow. but not in them. it's all how you take the analogy. there's room for alot of atypical response.
