    -------------------------------------------

    a young child at play;
    happy, carefree, naive.
    unaware of what the world offers,
    oblivious to pain.

    one accident that changed her;
    the quick temper, the slap.
    the neighbors that abused her,
    the pain, the torment.

    the fight to go back;
    the will, the kind heart.
    the wish for true happiness;
    wanting the naive.

    the day it all ended;
    the day i woke up.
    the moment i realized,
    life is pain.

      The loss of innocence. Beautifully depicted tragic and profound.
