Description:

No luck, no love

They told me,
I would get married by 30.
They told me,
Life's gonna get excitin'
and lovely, pretty.

I believed them, then.
For deep in my heart,
I yearn for a man,
That only death can
do us apart.

So, like a good child,
I waited, and waited.
He's a bit late, I don't mind,
Told myself, its fated.

Years passed,
Seasons changed.
And past 30,
I've aged.

Never again to believe,
I swore.
To all those who wished me luck,
Ask yourself again,
Why am I in this muck?
