    Thinking the worst
    Keep it together
    Dont mind the details
    Or the pressure

    But i will always feel
    And you wont always care
You treat me like your enemy
    Yet im still standing here

    I know your outside
    But im looking in
    Past this new found you
To the girl you once had been

    Your memory stays like light
    Shining down on me below
    I wish I wasn't tortured
By the one thing you should know

    I will always feel
    You don't seem to care
    I've become your enemy
    Yet im still waiting here

I have been on the receiving end of this sort of plight as well and I'm sorry that you are. You seem like a very intelligent, handsome, and sensitive man so whoever it is that is treating you unfairly like this is missing out.

Being able to relate the poem, I can sympathize. I enjoyed reading this piece and it definitely brought back some memories. They aren't bad, just make me chuckle at myself at how silly I was wasting my time on someone who didn't deserve me in the first place. I hope one day you can see that as well.

Waiting to be understood/noticed/appreciated by some oblivious soul is as thankless as an endless incarceration on a deserted island.
