You are like a star
Beautiful from afar
Even more so when you're near
When apart I shed a tear
Why can't we forever
Be here happy together
You always seem to leave
And with you my soul you thieve
But when I am in despair
Thinking that life's not fair
You light the way when I'm lost
Melt from my heart sorrows frost
When I seem to be down
You just look and frown
Then show that special smile again
And away goes my grief and pain
