And I wonder if these clouds ever dissipate,
When the sun goes down will it ever be night again?
These hills and mountains I have travelled on my entire life seem now a journey so far away I can't visualize it,
    Damn,
    I cant even conceptualize them
Is it possible that ascention starts here and now
All former realities are just evaporating
    I am on a ride, a high, I just can't come down

I enjoyed this. It's a brief read but it gets a lot in there fast, I felt unsettled by the line of night not coming up after the sun goes down, it's sort of backward and interesting, playing on the usual expectation of waiting for the sun to come up. Gets across that tired feeling when you're too wired or high to sleep. The disorientation works. Yeah, it just seems like something short to describe the way you feel, but it's done well for all that.

I really like this piece. It seems very emotional as if the person is longing for something. Although I don't feel it connects with the title for some reason. I've read and reread but I can't see where it connects. Unless its an abstract write then I can understand. Otherwise I enjoyed reading it has depth and made me really think about what I was reading.
