Koi side eyed the fisherman.
"You will never eat me and if you do . . ." She paused and chuckled.
"...If I do?" snarled the Fisherman.
Koi slapped her colorful tail against the emerald glassy water.
"I'm a famous painter." She replied. The answer startled the fisherman.
"What does that have to do with me eating you?" He huffed.
Bubbles grew and popped as Koi laughed. She swiveled her teal eyes to look at the fisherman closer.
"If you eat me, I will color your insides with my poison. I am what you call The Bittersweet Artist. My beauty and taste are the jewels of my sin. They burst inside your eyes and deceive you from what I truly am. They melt onto your taste buds with the most delicious flavor but as you swallow the burning begins and I become the monster within you."
And with that Koi snapped the fishing line in half, swallowed the fishing hook and disappeared beneath the emerald liquid.
