    dotsDeath's faithful dog (part 2)dots

    Nearly drowned myself with tea
    After exhausting pornography
That brown coating on my tongue
    Unfurled itself like rotten plums
wRested from a far off place
Even as I began to contemplate

Dreampt of maiden hours in a wood
Though precious as anything, I understood
    Thick fallacies of mind,
Can play out even with sun coming through the blinds

I thought of all the things I shouldn't say
About women as I brought myself to Brussel bay
The sky was sickening sea-weed overhead
    Bemoaned sun-lit visages of dead

And there was a girl with her toe in the water
There young enough to be someones daughter
Have you ever wanted to write an erotic romance?
Could even the dead steal down and ask her for a dance?

"What do you do this morning by the pier?" said I
"Here just to watch the ocean passing by"
"have you marked the way the sun came down like a flare?" (it did you know, we all seen it)
    She looked at me:
"I haven't got the time anymore to be scared"

"I have tea in the house, I'm just a lowly butchers servant, but I don't always I want to be at least, I don't always plan to be"

"Then maybe I'll see you for tea sometime" she said.

Her dress was very Summery, and I watched it.
Alone I went afterward, along the yellow steps,
Past the beach front ads I followed the smell of the hops

A new beer they had, to deal with the lights gone out
As I dealt with the shrewd attendents there was sweat on my brow
I just want something to drink, I thought
