Savage Sight -------------------------------------------
By Ethan Brody
I wonder what it would be like
Not to have such a savage sight,
Not to be distracted and write.
I often stare at big old buildings
And ask myself why they changed
Or how it would have been
To see their glorious days,
When lights lit streets
And queues drew smiles,
When nets were plastic
And words felt real.
Now in a new realm
Where no one cares,
Where talks are brief
And we look down
We stare at plastic and ignore life!
I suppose sometimes it isn't the buildings. It's the building of life around us, and the building of a notion that we shouldn't hear/speak, perhaps this builds apathy. Maybe step out side of that, then you might find a community of things to care for. And we all need that community inside ourselves. Then it's easier to know that your cared for and can care for a community of common interests. I'd like to think EliteSkills is a community. Yet all things, to this dynamic of thinking, Communities can have Communities within them. I say take the community that you care for home, remember that home is where the heart is, and your heart is in your chest, therefore you can take it with you then? poetry-ProcessInLinearLanguage.
