Questions in the dark accompanied by the orchestral sounds of the night
Tell me that this heart is still full of wonder

    Hairs raise
As a seasonal odor, a crisp breath of a fall gust of wind
Awakens my senses and fragments of memories

I am encouraged to make dishes that my mother made when I was a young child
    Like cheesy scalloped potatoes 🍠

Looks like your mother wasn't all bad - particularly the cheesy scalloped potatoes, and like mother, like daughter, so we can intuit that lori_tab isn't bad either. So how nice to share with you the crisp breath of Fall, particularly as we are racing into the full breath of Spring.

But still I wonder - you say 'Fall' and I say 'Autumn', but worse, when you have Fall I don't have Fall at all, hard as it is to believe, I have Spring, and just as you are losing your leaves, all our trees are festooning themselves in new green leaves. Am I crazy or is the Earth a little crazy tilted 23 degrees away from the Sun? It's enough to send anyone a little crazy, split between Fall and Spring, both at the same time.

Save me lori, save me from this divided world and make me cheesy scalloped potatoes.

And that's exactly what fall always does to me, It make me want to cook and bake and add all of those scents to that of the fall leaves outside my door. Hearts full of wonder...it should always be so my dear. It keeps the heart young and the mind fresh as the autumn breeze.

Hope you are having a good week!
