    -------------------------------------------

We drove towards the weekend, and away,
and talked insignificant things and even less
    insignificant people.
    Rain trickled down, mid-winter,
curled the edges of my hair
fogged your glasses, and I kept
    fidgeting.
One stop more you’d glance to check,
we’d say our good byes, hurry,
    before the doors
    close.

I really enjoyed this poem. I loved the imagery and how you allowed the reader to build their own narrative. Just enough detail; just enough distance. Thank you.

There is a lot of life in this short and sweet write. I liked it. It was lively.
