Some people have an instinct to question why. Like...in every random act. Nothing can be random, everything has a purpose or meaning.

But then somebody comes along and sees something wrong and they fix it.

They do not question where or why or who or what and if or when or but...they just come along with a solution and they fix the problem.

They may or may not give thanks to a god for giving them the tools and knowledge to fix the problem, if they didn't do it, someone else will.

    Google it.

"How can you say I shouldn't be as happy as I am when you live the way you want and never accept the way I live?"

But they always say hello and goodbye. Seeking some other way to secure their depression.

    Someone will pity them.

But you got people like me. Getting in the way by moving forward.

How can I be in the way when you cant keep up?

Every dotted line leads to somewhere and people seem to forget that. If everyone found that empty space they wished for, they would not know what to do with it. Or even how to act when they got there.

Because the only thing that I have noticed that can get along without a sense of structure is the universe. And none of us are that.

But everyone has an ego, a perception, an idea or a moment that is written all across their face...which makes them think...

    And that is alright.

I liked this. It seems like the idea behind it is that there's no hidden structure or meaning in everything that happens, (from the author's perspective) but some people need to believe that because people can't live without structure of some kind. And that in fact, sometimes even the people who don't believe in hidden meaning sometimes question if something was meant to be, and that's alright.

The idea that there is no meaning to the universe, no mastermind, is an unpopular one. Like believing in Santa Claus, isn't it so much fuzzier to say things like, "I believe everything happens for a reason."

The only line I was really unsure about was 'But they always say hello and goodbye.' I didn't understand how it related to their quest for meaning, or getting others' pity...

    Overall, thanks for sharing.
