My personality hurts and yet there is no cure
Forever lasting this impairment within my soul

    I'm sorry
    I'm sorry
    I'm sorry

I said it aloud inside my little box
My box that keeps me safe

    Despise me
    Kill me
    Punch me

One of those you promised to keep

    Do it

I can relate to this write, in the plea for someone to punish you for something you did, to try to re-right the balance, but the retribution doesn't come. I think sometimes the cruelest thing another person can do to you is let you punish yourself, because then it's never enough or over.

Vivid, expressive, and dark. I see your box but what's inside of your box?
