The Scarlet Letter

Pick one, or many,
it really doesn’t matter.
They only have meaning,
when you put them all together.

Venomous hatred spewed;
torturous by design.
Poison pen inflicting painful lashes,
inappropriate for the time.

Wrought with irony,
arguments hypocritical;
swimming through a sea of conjecture...

What feeble mind constructs
such plethora of insults abound,
resulting in one feeling better
while tearing the other down.

Illusionary answers remain,
retort will only give rise;
ammunition used to fire away
into the stare of the public eye.

  It seems every person or group of people don't like something or someone. Social stigmatism is as old as the concept of tribal and often blind to the degradations it causes. It's a sad and interminably adamant weakness the human race suffers.
