    Description:
Yes, that's the real title. It seems to suit how I feel about this piece. It's a little bit based on truth, a little bit satirical, a little bit phobic, a little bit sadistic, a little bit fun. I hope you enjoy the various tones I went through. And please feel free to make ANY comment that comes to mind.

Sometimes I wish I was gay.
Don't give me that sarcastic smile.
It's not such an absurd thing to say,
If you think on it for a while.

I've always gotten along much better
With men than with women in truth.
Women I often find wanting in brains,
And yes, I'm aware that's a little uncouth.

Perhaps I just meet the wrong women,
Yet this fact is well proven in life.
I might do far better with a husband,
Then ever I could with a wife!

But they say I don't dress well enough to be gay.
And of course there's the small problem of
My general lack of attraction to men.
With a man I'm unable to fall in love.

    So I guess I can't be gay.
Not ever in a million years.
And all those guys who flirt with me,
Won't be getting a thing up their rears.

I liked this piece a lot. At first it made me see the truth because quite frankly being a girl I'm afraid of other women myself. I know I could never go unstraight but thats because I fear my own gender. Towards the end though the poem made me smile, and although you're unsure of this piece, its a great write:O)

heh heh...thats why there are those of us who are "greedy"..bi all the way, heh heh...hey, ya know, a little acting never hurt. and women dig the whole metro-treading-the-line-between-gay
-and-straight thing. maybe its worth a shot to at least pretend...no, you don't actually have to put anything near your/anyone else's rear...you're a kidder, man. i liked this one a lot, i don't think anything about it is politically incorrect, jesus...? why would someone say that? you didn't say homo or queer or anything, and you ain't mocking them...? but i think some of us are more openminded. i'm blonde, but i got brains, thanks...know lots of girls who DON'T, pisses me off as well to no ends...cuz some of them are bangin'. ah, well, what can i say...keep lookin...and if ya lose your balls, ever...give me a call! <blush> latah~april

you're treading the fine line of being very politically 'incorrect' here with the whole gay stereotype thing.. on another site some guy posted a poem called 'i swear i'm not gay' or something.. and it had a few similar references as yours and the kid got crucified..
hopefully you wont have to deal wiith that here

but hey what's this about women lacking brains? ey? men these days.. honestly.. pffff... and aren't you guys who write supposed to be the more sensitive type? =oP

Damn, I wanted to stop reading it but I had to reach the end to make sure you just had an inkling of a thought of wondering if you hope that you may become gay. lol. I enjoyed it.
