    Love in the dark,
    Cry because the light.

    Smile at all the sadness,
Cower in fear to all happiness.

    Hang on to the anger,
    Leave behind the peace.

    Care for what you hate,
Forget about what you can't live without.

    Keep close what will last,
Get rid of what always fades.

    Believe the truth,
    Don't listen to the lies.

    Know what will last,
    Know what will die.
