    -------------------------------------------

    It happens to us all
Seasons in our lives will change,
    like summer to fall

    Emulating a revolving door,
    as one makes an exit
    there's the expectation of more

This wind, it's no friend of mine
    Once whispers of promise
now send shivers down my spine

Instinct tells us to fight, so plead my case I must
    One final appeal
to bring renewal from scattered ashes and dust

But what will be is not the same
Reduced to my knees, I now know
    I've only myself to blame

I'm not sure exactly where you're coming from with this, but even so, I feel I can relate to it. I'm not an expert, but I feel this is well written. Nice work.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
