    dotsStill dots

    Breathe each breath
    And take in all the
    Still moments.
    Though still
    never existed.

Thank you, also. I forget sometimes how words can be healing - and you can lose yourself, immersed in other people's words. :)

Well, i like that this reads a bit plain and obvious- you read the repeat of still and it doesn't seem overtly flamboyant -but, i like that when i think about it the poem opens up -not as a result of my brain -but because of the simple truth. I've been thinking a lot about childhood and growing up on the farm with my family - and how that was a good time. but life is always moving
so even though those things were very real you could only say - i enjoyed that part of the river. nothing is unchanged, whether it's the landscape, the circumstance, or you.

that's a magnificent and precious knowledge to hold onto
and bear with you as you dig into each of those breaths. It's also promising (you know) if you've had your heart broke(n).

Life is the slowest moving fastest moving thing and i love the way your poem illuminates that so precisely.
