    -------------------------------------------

in his dreams she was Picasso
which painted a smile on his face with her own

    she skipped on the sea
                                                                                              and
scribbled his name in the sand

    she stood before him,
pearlescent arms opened like the Pietà,                         “come”

she whispered, “shall we explore the

                                                                          depths?”

he reached for her like the tides      r      e      a      c      h          for the                    shore

    “yes” he said,

“let us kiss beneath the foamy waves and rise to meet the moon”
