Answers are hidden spanning the waves of time,
the longing is still apparent with every stare,
silently going through the mundane alone,
    reaching for the sun.

Was that a true reaction there?
To the innocent feelings that are held captive,
so close to the heart that beats quiet,
waiting for the turn of your head.

Exhale out into the spring air,
the winter winds are starting to calm,
soon there will be a time of rebirth.

Is there a chance anymore to love,
the one that was always there?
A true friend, forever knowing each other,
though moving through our lives at a distance.

Then comes the dawn of the new summer,
    endlessly the sun reproaches us,
    reminding us of burning passions,
that inevitably have to be concealed.

    Finding another soul,
one whom is somewhat of a match,
to get to know the layers,
to learn how to find forever the love within.
