    A tulip pushes through snow

and we cling to that moment
like a child in a crowd
    clings to mother

like one hand clasps another in a storm

    We break through our own
    frozen fields

We lean in the direction of the sun

      Jane,

I have a smile because your life-affirming words make me feel good. Thanks for the moment.

Nice sentiment of hope and promise -'tis the best we can do on any given day, IMHO. Additionally, a tulip springs from a bulb, an unseen source of lasting resolve so much more powerful than a mere seed. This speaks to me of faith.

pushing through the crust known as "what is"
attaining the orbit of "what may be"
roots locked tight to an atmosphere
that can only dissolve under the weight of me

another of my "pasts", like a gathering storm
stacked on a fire to keep me warm

    Just some thoughts on yours.

Yes we traverse the treacherous tundra and terrain while we frigid fuck contemplate mystic symbiosis and lean in the direction of the sun. Elan vital.
