    Shadows
    Of another me
    Haunt me and my heart

    Light
    Surrender Please
This darkness will tear you apart

    Falling
    Without a chute
Can't wait to hit the ground hard

    Bleeding
    From everywhere
I can't get out all these shards

    Demons
    I beg you please
    Put me back together

    Angels
    Leave me be
I don't deserve your pure feathers

    Shadows
    Of who I was
Show who is so much stronger

    Light
    Leave me alone
I can't look at these shadows any longer

This is a wonderful read. Reminds me of Poe's melancholy darkness. The struggle to hide away from the reminder of everything you once were or could have been and succumb to the darkness inside yourself. The feeling that no matter what little light may still shine within you, it will be no contest to the surrounding, suffocating Black.
You've really embodied that here in a clean and meaningful manner.

Nothing is Dark forever, Dear :)

Well, that's what happens when you fall apart.
