This is the night, where hope dies forever,
The kind of night where only memories will remain.
Presumed fear of a life in deception, no one will find me here.
An overbearing despair, that converts to strength.

Hidden meanings of life, I've become exhausted searching,
For my burning for enthusiasm fell off the edge of the planet.
Within this dark empty chamber, I've become nothing...
Nothing but ash, that the wind caresses away.

I'll exit, allowing life to fade of its insipid smiling...
To embrace a world of eternal silence after the trigger.
Everything oh so silent, this reality became a dream...
For this is the day, where hope lives forever...

She always wanted to taste the barrel of a gun and eat a bullet like a gourmet meal.

This piece was bitter, resentful, and sad. So, great job conveying those emotions to the page. If you are truly feeling this way, my heart goes out to you. I've been there and it's... being there.

This imagery was beautiful. It was a stop-motion master piece in my mind. I near cried when the little man fell of the edge of the world. That ever black drop into the void's hideous maw is soul terrifying. I dared hope for reprieve from the hungry beast, but in the end, as he always does, Death consumes Life.

Fantastic poem, thank you for sharing,
    H
