    Her smile...
    as wide as the horizon.
Lighting her eyes in all the
    vibrant, wondrous colors
    of the nascent dawn
    Blues, greens, yellows
    Crowning Day's beginning with
    Hope and Beauty.

    I am mesmerized
    loathe to turn away.
    I'd rather my eyes burn
    to tasteless ash watching.
    Her smile growing ever brighter,
Than dare close my eyes to
    Aurora, my Love.
    If, Anyone at all, ever
    awful enough, starved enough
Evil enough to darken your smile,
    and attempt to extinguish
    Your sunny lips,
All warm with passion and faith.
    My darling, my dear
I will be happy to drown them
    in the flood your tears.
