    -------------------------------------------

    All these years
    New and old
    Time has taken back
    All we cannot hold
    All we cannot keep
    But what was lost
    Like a fossil, stayed
    Became one in another
Like white in a play of color
    I descend,
    form,
    into the background

    If I could, slow down
Feel my heart beat one more time
Let the wind touch my face
To realize, the corner of this world
    I dread so much
    Is sky,
    white, blue and endless
    I will live.

    To love, whose absence
    left us in continuous drift,
    I say, "come".
    For all that was taken,
    far,
    forgotten,
    and missed
    Is here, always
    In a corner.

carved like some ancient mammoth's ivory
Long since buried in the effluvium
    Of everyday life
You thought you had lost it
Then one day you pick it up
Dust it off with catch of breath
    And you realize Wow
    It's love

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
