    -------------------------------------------

The morning light will come to pass
And try to wake us in its way
But your soft breath will overcast
Your beating heart entice me to stay

A rhythmic pulse of "please stay near"
With an afterthought of a strong embrace
    The covers serve to persevere
the world the might tries to replace

To hold the dawn at bay, we try
With hands and feet that know their place
With eyes shut tight we know each star,
each moon, each planet in our space

I know each path from me to you
You know each distance in between
The planets smile because they, too
Have felt the fervor in our gleam

The light can try and intercept the
(the silent words our hearts relay)
It can wake us in its mayhem
But our hearts will hold the dawn at bay

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
