I see within
a thought of judgment
against my brother
and lay it down.
On the see-saw
of inferiority
and
superiority
I no longer wish to play.
Compared to you
I am more or less
why play this
"I need to be the same" game!
Or "my different
is better (or worse) than yours" bore!
Why slice and dice my brother?
Or myself, for that matter?
God's hand is upon us
and we are as yet unfinished works.
Do we eat the stew before its cooked
and judge it a failure?
Can we trust the Chef to boil us up
to the point of deliciousness?
Will he make our aroma pleasing?
And our flavour delighting to him?
Oh yes!
I lay down my opinions of unfinished stews
And trust the Chef!
You know, I realize that competition gets way out of hand in human terms. Cutthroat, backstabbing, corporate takeovers, etc. Contrary to all these facts it keeps us on our toes and makes us strive to do our best. We need it to help us improve our game. Nothing wrong with a little bit of friendly competition with good sportsmanship included. It's only when it becomes like skirmishes in a war that it becomes a burden. When we stop having empathetic consideration for our fellow man and lose all sight of probity. Ontological deontology can be a wonderful thing, it's too bad we're not all incentivized by it!!!
