    What is broken cannot heal.
All wounds will be just fine.
Just leave a scar in time.
But all the time you may take,
    You can never undo heartbreak.

While the heart may always feel,
It will not cross that line.
    Always limited shine.
The crash will make your soul shake.
    All your happiness at stake.

But it will come back again.
The merry-go-round of love and pain.
You know inside they're both the same.
So, you can't bring yourself to regret.
The love you've had since the day you met.

How many years has it been?
You've lost count but nothing's changed.
Different players of the same game
A futile quest to find once more
An ounce of that which you adore

    Does lightning only strike once?

If there was ever a quest that was life long and rare to find it would be that of one person that we call true love. Even hard to capture their heart then to always keep that love. How difficult it is in this world. I like the line "different players of the same game" the belief is so strong that sometimes it's misconstrued then the quest begins again. I enjoyed your poem thanks for sharing.
