    -------------------------------------------

    Over yonder lies a
    Red barn--
    Stubbornly
    Statuesque--

    Her red paint
    Flecked
    And curled

    By the elements--
    Exposed
    Her burnished beams

    (Baked
    By ten thousand
    Sunrises)--

    Beckons the robins to nest
    In the cask
    Of her
    Ribs—

What is it about twilight that reminds me of death?

    Like the geese
    That climb
    South
    Cloud by cloud
    Until
    Tousled in blue

    And out of
    Sight-

    And isn’t this death?
    The dissolving
    Of us
    Into the earth

    Our bones
    Waning
    Like the unassuming
    Walnut,
    Un-gathered

    Yet, revolving
    With life
    Roots in the oak air--

    Over yonder

    Panchi
    Chases children

    THUD-
    Thud-thud-giggle-
    THUD-
    Thud-thud-giggle-
    THUD-
    Thud-thud-gig
    gle-

    And so twilight

    Strips into
    Black-
    And black
    Slips into
    Blue—

    Which
    Strips into
    Black
    Which
    Slips into
    Blue---

    Which
    Strips
    In
    To
    Black…

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
