    Description:
I wrote this poem after watching and listening to my friend Holly tell me about a gift that she had received from me for Mother's Day. As she was giving me the details, it seemed to me that she was glowing. It was wonderful to see her so happy. Holly, sometimes...it is just about seeing you glow.

    Looking for those clues
    As I watch and listen
    The trivial, the silent
    The things that glisten

    Sections of a puzzle
    Pieces of a whole
    The tell-tale of you
    A hand written scroll

    Sprinkles of this
    A little each day
    A pinch of that
    Building an array

I'll give all that I am
    Until the very end
    Asking nothing more
    Even as your friend

    A knight without his armor
    An imperfect being
    Genuine to a fault
    This is who you're seeing

    We might never soar
    It could pass us by
    Yet hope is always there
And so I’ll tell you why

Of all I see in you
    For I truly know
    So just because
    To see you glow
